A DEDICATED FOUNDATION  COLLEGE SPECIALISING IN DANCE AND MUSICAL THEATRE

The Foundation College is situated at Jason Thomas Performing Arts in the city of Truro. The purpose-built dance studios have enabled expansion of the company's training programme to include this opportunity for students wishing to embark on a career in the performing arts.

CHOOSING A PRE-VOCATIONAL / FOUNDATION COURSE

Foundation courses have proved their worth around the country, hugely improving the success ratio of students being accepted onto full-time performing arts courses. We are proud to have a 100% pass rate.

The one-year course is designed to further equip people who show potential in the performing arts but require more training in order to be accepted at a vocational college.

It may be that you have discovered only recently a passion for movement and dance or perhaps you feel that you need additional training in drama or singing. A foundation course will help you to develop your full potential and reach your goals. The course is designed to work the weaker aspects of an individual’s skill-base whilst continuing to develop their strengths. As it is only a one-year course students must be prepared to work hard in all the areas of dance and musical theatre.
